Synthesis Art in Music represents the continuation of 63 years of experience in the field of high end electronics. From the appearance of the earliest valve amplifiers, they have gained the reputation, on the hi-fi market, as a niche product in the broadest and most positive sense of the term.
The exceptional aesthetics, the constant technological research, and an almost maniacal attention to detail make every single Synthesis amplifier a unique piece. Tube Phono Stage MM-MC
Synthesis is set to release a new tube phono stage, the Roma79DC.
The all important component of this of this line stage comprises of two ECC83/12AX7 and one ECC82/12AU7 are run by a multi stage fully regulated power supply.
To back this up the design has an over size shielded power transformer for reduce the interference. An array high grade metalized polypropylene capacitors controlling the audio signal circuits. The MM input stage uses a low noise JFet with a separate regulated power supply with extensive filtering for reducing the interference and noise. Using an ECC82/12AU7 tube on the output stage, gives this unit a very low output impedance without losing signal.
The Roma79DC has easily selectable capacitors (MM) and impedances (MC) for cartridges by a front mounted knob selector which is also shown on the front LCD display.

There has never been an introductory integrated amplifier with the fit, finish and sound of the ROMA 753AC. At first glance, this stunning amp simply takes your breath away. This high performance amplifiers brings out the best of other components in the system. Created by those obsessed with great sound and for those who love great music. The result is 50 watts of pure pentode output per channel built around a pair of 12AU7 on input/driver tubes and a pair of EL34/6CA7 power tubes in push-pull configuration for a detailed, delicate and dynamic sound.

The Output transformer uses a Hi-Grade lron-Silicon for superb frequency reproduction & width. With this newly designed custom output transformer we are able to achieving a highly delicate & precise sound reproduction faithful to the original recording.
Mechanical chassis construction
The power supply & output transformers are held by an extremely rigid structure that keeps the unit free from unwanted vibrations which further helps reduce unwanted noise to the tubes.
Remote control
It has a soft button design, perfectly matching the aesthetics for the “ROMA” series. It controls volume, mute and sources selection.
Feet
Four aluminum feet with an insert of strong rubber. These rubber feet have been chosen to minimise vibrations of the amplifier in isolation from its surroundings.

It has taken few years of research and development for Synthesis to bring to market the new ROMA510AC Signature. The Signature version has on board the XLR input and MC/MM phono stage.
We introduced the toroidal transformers in amplifiers, which led to improved performance. To back this up the design has an over size shielded power transformer for reduce the interference. The MM and MC inputs stage use a low noise OPA with a separate regulated power supply with extensive filtering for reducing the interference and noise. Using an OPA as buffer on the output stage, gives this unit a very low output impedance without losing signal.

The result is 80 watts of pure pentode output per channel built around a double triode 12AX7 on input and a 12BH7 tube as phase splitter and a pair of KT88 power tubes in push-pull configuration for a detailed, delicate and dynamic sound.

Bias control
The factory set fine bias control is microprocessor controlled to maintain the optimum settings. If required this can be adjusted without the use of an external voltmeter by use of an internally fitted display device.
Dual Mono Circuitry
A completely dual mono design minimises the crosstalk across channels. Power transformers use hi-grade iron silicon M0 and separate supplies with hi-grade selected capacitors to produce extremely low ripple levels. Independent to the mains transformer, each channel has a separate power supply guaranteeing a large reservoir of energy to meet the demands of the amplifier circuit and to maintain excellent interference immunity between channels.

Output transformer
The Output transformer uses a double C-core Hi-Grade Iron-Silicon for superb frequency reproduction and bandwidth. With this newly designed custom output transformer unique to the NYC200i we are able to achieving highly delicate and precise sound reproduction faithful to the original recording.
Mechanical chassis construction
The power supply and output transformers are held by an extremely rigid “H” structure that keeps the unit free from unwanted vibrations which further helps reduce unwanted noise to the tubes.
Remote control
A superb wooden handmade case with soft button design, perfectly matching the aesthetics for the “Metropolis” series.
Feet
Four CNC machined aluminium feet with an insert of natural rubber. The depth and form of these rubber feet is calculated to minimize the vibration of the amplifier in isolation from its surroundings.
Fan
A 120mm fan provides a speed between 500 to 700 rpm which is controlled via the supplied adapter. This ULN (Ultra-Low-Noise) unit is tailor made for the serious enthusiast who demands super-slow running speeds and the utmost silence of operation.
Bias control
The factory set fine bias control is microprocessor controlled to maintain the optimum settings. If required this can be adjusted without the use of an external voltmeter by use of an internally fitted display device.
Dual mono Circuitry
A completely dual mono design minimises the crosstalk across channels. Power transformers use hi-grade iron silicon M0 and separate supplies with hi-grade selected capacitors to produce extremely low ripple levels. Independent to the mains transformer, each channel has a separate power supply guaranteeing a large reservoir of energy to meet the demands of the amplifier circuit and to maintain excellent interference immunity between channels.

The amplifier FCO-300B is capable of reproducing music with speed, contrast, body and the life-like presentation of instruments. With this model, using the Single Ended configuration in pure class A, we managed to obtain the musicality we were looking for with dynamics, bass control and power output able to drive a broad range of speakers. Available in Aluminum Silver finish.
The high quality of components used gave to the project a better resolution that reveal to the listener hears a life-like presentation of the musical performance.
